Hi!
Zoe just turned 8! What a miracle. Last year on her 7th birthday, Zoe had a surgery to insert fiducials on her spine in preparation for radiaion. This year was definitely better. We went to Orlando for the weekend to celebrate her birthday. We had won SeaWorld tickets for the Courage Counts award almost a year ago, so we decided to use them for this occasion. While we were there we also went to Aquatica, the waterpark. We all had a great time.
Zoe had just gotten back from ROCK camp at Boggy Creek. She was there for a week for the South Florida Cancer week. She made a lot of new friends, participated in new activities, and had an overall awesome experience. She already said that she wants to go again next year. Now Zoe is at acting day-camp with her friend from school, which I’m sure she will love.
The end of summer is nearing and Zoe is getting ready for 3rd grade. She is also excited that Eli is starting Kindergarten and they will be at the same school now. I am grateful to have two healthy children enjoying what is left of summer vacation and getting ready to begin a new school year. Things are good and I know we are lucky.
